JWLeoWish I'd have done this years ago!! GREAT VALUE!!Before you buy, call their customer support and have them recommend the correct unit for your location and situation. I'm in the middle of nowhere in NW Minnesota, and I still get 30 channels, including ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, PBS. Most of my signals are coming from between 80 and 120 miles away, and are very consistent and clear. Only rarely does weather of any kind effect the signal, and then it never effects all the channels. I credit this to the Juice amplifier. My antenna is mounted on the peak of my attached garage, and is only about 22 feet in the air at the top. It is exceptional. I live 30 miles from downtown Atlanta, GA which has many broadcasting towers. I am using the clearstream 2V longrange antenna. It did receive all channels that had strong transmitter signals but, it didn't receive the weaker stations. So, after installing the Juice, I did an auto channel search on my Samsung TV. I was thrilled to get about 30 more stations that had weaker broadcast signals. Most importantly, the Juice has overload protection. So, it want get burned out and overloaded from the TV stations that have much stronger transmitters. It was positioned on my roof about 35ft off the ground. I live in an area with many large Hills about 45 miles east of pittsburgh. I was getting some channels on the TV closest to the antenna with a weak signal. I connected juice and now get all of the local channels offered in Pittsburgh on all 4 tvs in my home. There are a total of 3 splitters throughout my lines and the longest line I have is over 125ft long. Without amp I would be forced to pay for directv with their constantly rising prices. Also the picture quality is noticeably better than directv though they advertise 100 percent digital hd. Some are not perfect and pixelate due to all the surrounding trees. I have 40 channels that are crystal clear as if it was cable. After a call to Antennas Direct, they recommended I try this amplifier. Once I installed it, BAM, I got all the stations I needed and more and in excellent clarity. I am on the third floor of a five story building. I did a channel search: 41 digital channels, many in HD. I ran the coaxial cable to the cable hub in the utility room ceiling. The Clearstream representative texted (chat messaged) with me to help me through the process of figuring out which line was the modem line which I connected to the CATV (cable TV)/Internet line. I then put the antenna coaxial cable into the Input port. Boom! The antenna signal was distributed to four flat screens in the living room and three bedrooms. I now pay for the Internet service plus PlayStation Vue. I bought the Amazon Fire TV for each TV. I then cut the cord with Comcast. I am saving $70 per month over cable. I also bought a modem and router. I will recoup all my costs in 7-8 months. We have every station we had before. On occasion, depending on atmospheric conditions, there will be an occasional pixilation, but we had those lapses with CATV too--also with the Internet buffering. In short, the service is equivalent to Comcast plus a little more choice.
